The Mission of the INGV Branch in Bologna

 

The research activities of the INGV Branch in Bologna are part of the nel Institutional Program of INGV Activities 2009-2011 (Pdf, in italian). Researchers contribute to the following specific objectives of the Institute:

Reaching us

By car

Arriving from any direction, get off the freeway and continue on the 'tangenziale' until exit n. 7/7bis (via Stalingrado). Follow via Stalingrado for about 1 km, then turn right on via Liberazione. After 600 meters turn left on via Ferrarese and left again on via D. Creti.

By plane 

Bus  BLQ connects the Airport to Central Station in about 25 min.

By train

From Central Station by bus 25 (destination Dozza), 35 (destination Rotonda Baroni), 21 (destination Magazzari), or by feet (about 10 min.), follow via Matteotti, via Ferrarese, p.zza dell'Unità, via D. Creti

From the city center

In 10 min. by bus 11A (destination Bertalia), 11B (destination Rot.Giardini), 11C (destination ITC Luxemburg), 25 (destination Dozza), 27 (destination Byron)
