EDURISK
The project was born in 1999, in the framework of the agreements between the Civil Protection Department and INGV, and has been funded since 2002.
The reserch unit at Bologna branch is responsible of the project, coordinates the planning and development of the educational tools, and manages the training of the school teachers (more than 2000 up to now). National and international collaborations have been activated, with local authorities (regions and provinces institutions), with the Sala Borsa Children Library in Bologna, wth the Science City in Naples, with the european network MASAD, the swiss PLANAT, and the french IFFO-RME. In the last two years, the interactive laboratory “Tutti giù per Terra” has been realized, as well as a wide educational campaign for the population and the school personnel who live in the area of the Aquila earthquake occurred on april 6th, 2009.
At present the project is aimed to consolidate the educational strategies worked out in the previous years, with a sepcial attention to long-distance educational tools, and to new national and international activities and collaborations.
